Mac Cooper

Mac Cooper is an independent curator and photographer working in Nashville, TN. She graduated with her MA in the History of Art with Curating from the University of London, Birkbeck, and her BA in Art History and Archaeology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her research and curatorial practice focus on twentieth-century and contemporary photography, as well as contemporary art. At the core of her practice, she believes art has the power to reshape narratives, expand perspectives, and ignite collective empathy.
